What does aluminum etching involve?

For aluminum etching, we use a chemical process in which aluminum particles are selectively removed. This is done using etching chemicals and a pre-applied protective layer. Only the uncovered areas of the aluminum are dissolved, allowing us to create highly precise structures without mechanical stress. High quality etching is therefore the best choice for thin sheet material or components with complex geometries.

What is clear anodized aluminum and why do we use it?

Anodized aluminum is one of the easiest metals to mark and is widely used across various industrial sectors. This type of aluminum is coated with an oxide layer through an electrolytic process. The oxide layer is hard, porous, and wear resistant. Anodized: meaning & variations

The term “anodized” refers to an electrochemical process in which an oxide layer is formed on metals such as aluminum or steel. Anodized steel or aluminum offers significant advantages and is therefore widely used in our etching processes. It creates a hard, durable, and corrosion-resistant layer on which markings and decorations, for example, can be etched.
